Named after Paralympian gold medallist Mark Colbourne, who grew up just around the corner, the Colbourne Close development brought 23 new homes to Tredegar.
As well as bringing much-needed new homes to the area, the Colbourne Close development created one labour role, two apprenticeships and one work experience opportunity for United Welsh tenants and local people.
The team also enjoyed site visits from Bryn Bach Primary School pupils, who enjoyed learning about construction and safety.
The homes built at Colbourne Close included four one-bedroom apartments, two two-bedroom apartments, 13 two-bedroom houses and four three-bedroom houses.
They were all allocated for affordable rent through Blaenau Gwent Council’s Common Housing Register.
