Contract Guidance

The Renting Homes Act is the biggest change to housing law in Wales for decades. It will improve how we rent, manage, and live in rented homes in Wales.

As part of the new legislation, tenancy agreements are being replaced with occupation contracts. These contracts outline the rights and responsibilities of people who rent a home with us, and both contract-holders and United Welsh must follow the terms of the contract.

This page has general information to help with understanding the terms of an occupation contract for renting with us.

There are different types of contract depending on what kind of home you live in and when you joined United Welsh, so if you have any specific questions related to your home, please get in touch.
