What’s involved:
- Assisting with events and activities
- Meeting and greeting residents, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Engaging with residents and encouraging people to get involved
- Supporting the creation of activities with the Knit and Natter session
- Buying supplies for refreshments
- Serving refreshments and handling cash
- Counting/updating/ordering stock for the Knit and Natter session
- Setting up quiz

Time commitment
Wednesdays, 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Training
All our volunteers receive our volunteer induction and welcome training, and you will also get role-specific training.
Support
Volunteers will receive ongoing support with the Volunteer Coordinator, with regular one-to-one meetings arranged. The frequency of these will be determined by the time commitment of the volunteer and their individual needs.
